For years I have been fascinated with how people found the will and courage to survive during tough times. What gets them up in the morning and tending to their daily chores? What drives them?
I am especially interested in WWII… always have been.
So when I got the chance to sit down with my mother and her friend Sue who both grew up under the cloud of a World War… I took the chance and was granted the privilege to film them so others could join us.
What was it really like being a kid, growing up, during war time?
